Field Equipment
The main component of the project is field work – sampling of representative circular plots, Here data on the state of forests will be collected. A statistical sampling method of inventory is applied and combined with remote sensing. The project will purchase special equipment to make measurements of trees and shrubs, to assess the state of forests. Field data will be entered into field computers (tablets) directly in the forest. This fosters an efficiant work flow and high quality of the of the information received.
